Alexander Schwandt is a strategy consultant with the competence center "Engineered Products and High-Tech" with Roland Berger. From 2005 to 2010 he was research associate at the Forum for Corporate Sustainability at the IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland. In his general fi eld of research - managing complexity, sustainability, M&A and logistics/supply chain management he published several book chapters, more than ten case studies and different working papers. Before, he worked two years for the Airbus Deutschland GmbH at the department "Supply Chain Management - Process and Business Development". In 2010 he was member of the founding team for the Kühne Logistics University in Hamburg, Germany and responsible for the development of the research strategy and jointly responsible for the business plan and curriculum. Dr. Alexander Schwandt earned his PhD in the field of organizational complexity at the Department for Global Management and Strategic Leadership at the Technical University Berlin, where he also received a master degree for industrial engineering.
